A is for Abigail: An Almanac of Amazing American Women

This ABC book explores the wonderful and amazing women of America. This is beautifully written book with great historical perspectives. Each letter page shares the history of a historical woman or discusses many historical women in a field. For example, “K is for Mary Kies and other inventors and entrepreneurs.” Accompanying Mary Kies is a border noting other women inventors; the year it was created and their creation. With wonderful page construction, children can learn about many more famous women than just those listed from A to Z.
