The Sandwich Swap by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah
The main characters, Lily and Salma are best friends. They do everything together. They like all of the same things, jumping rope, drawing pictures, playing on the swings; well, they like almost all of the same things. The one area they don't agree in, is their choice of lunch. Lily eats peanut butter and Salma eats hummus. One day this leads to a nasty exchange of words that ends up causing a fight between the best friends. Will Lily and Salma come to terms with their differences? This is a story of tolerance and friendship that shows children we can be different and still get along.
