Little Blue and Little Yellow
By Leo Lionni
Honestly I wasn't as drawn to this book as Lionni's many others, but when my own little book hater son found it on the library shelf and asked me to read it two times in a row, I took it home. In this story the children are blobs from the color wheel. One day playing Little Blue and Little Yellow hug each other so tightly they turn into one green blob! Now their parents don't recognize them and they don't know what to do. As they cry blue and yellow tears they separate back into their primary colors (pun intended). I think the story has multiple meanings so find your own when you check this one out :-)
