PINDULI, by Janell Cannon is a special picture book with a wonderful message in the end. This story follows a little hyena named Pinduli through a day of being put down. Pinduli finally had enough and tried to change her appearance based on the comments of the other animals. In the end the animals realized that they were picking on Pinduli, because they were picked on themselves. It's a great book to share with kids to help discuss bullying, and being ok with who they are. Being unique should be something to be proud of.
