A Circle of Friends by Giora Carmi

This is a wordless story about a boy who leaves his newly purchased muffin with a homeless man fast asleep on a city bench. The man then wakes and shares his last crumbs with two birds that feed them to their baby. The circle of passing on kindness is continued until something special is given back to the boy. This is a simple story sharing a simple idea. The black and white line drawings, with small touches of color, speak volumes.
